Arcadia, CA – With nearly all ballots counted for the June 7, 2022 election, results show that Alton Wang’s lead continues to grow in the election for Pasadena Area Community College District Board of Trustees representing Area 7, which includes parts of Arcadia and Temple City. Alton Wang released the following statement declaring victory: 

"I am humbled and honored by the support from voters in Arcadia and Temple City in entrusting our campaign to put student success first and bring a new voice for positive change to Pasadena City College. As a son of immigrants born and raised in this community, I am particularly proud that we ran a positive, issues-focused campaign that reflects our community’s values.

"As an incoming Trustee, I look forward to being an accessible and responsive representative working with our students, faculty, and community members alike to ensure that everyone can access an affordable, high-quality public education –and move our community forward, together."
